Get ready, Pokémon trainers! A Pokémon Presents event is scheduled for next week, celebrating Pokémon Day with exciting franchise updates.
The Pokémon Company announced on X/Twitter that the event will air on February 27th, 2025, at 6am Pacific Time (9am Eastern Time/2pm UK time) on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
While the specifics remain under wraps, anticipation is high. Fans eagerly await news about the next mainline Pokémon game, currently unannounced. While the spin-off Pokémon Legends: Z-A (releasing in 2025) has been revealed, details on the next core generation remain a mystery.
The presentation will likely feature updates on existing titles including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. We can also expect news regarding the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical trading card game.
Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, new Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, among other announcements. Interestingly, 2024 marked a departure from previous years with only one Pokémon Presents event and the first absence of a major Pokémon game release since 2015.
