This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic attacks (both single-target and AoE), the highly damaging Megidolaon (AoE), and passive buffs amplifying these elemental attacks. It also employs Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and can summon skeletal reinforcements.
These summoned skeletons wield powerful slashing attacks and dark magic, boasting a potent buff and access to a high-powered healing spell, capable of quickly restoring the Magileto's health. Their weakness lies in Strike attacks.
Strategies for Victory
Even at level 50, this battle is incredibly tough. Below that level, victory is unlikely. Preparation is key:
- Acquire essential skills: Secure Dark Dodge (Magic Knight), Light Dodge (Healer), and inherit Strike skills (Brawler).
- Archetype selection: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to Dark and Light damage (Warlock, Thief).
- Maximize Strike attacks: Focus on Strength-based Archetypes with Skill Inheritance to maximize Press Turn icons.
- Prioritize healing: Ensure at least two party members possess party-wide healing spells.
Gameplay Tactics:
The fight involves an element of chance; consecutive Megidolaons are often unsurvivable. Prioritize Dark and Light Dodge for your party to mitigate damage and shorten enemy turns. Immediately eliminate summoned allies before they can heal the Magileto. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn.
