Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Frosty New Adventure Awaits!
Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and exciting new additions to keep the hunt thrilling, even with virtually frozen fingers!
What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?
This season introduces a snowy tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex.
Returning favorites include Barioth, along with smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests as you progress through Season 4's story chapters. Unlocking the tundra requires completing the prologue.
A powerful new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe! This versatile weapon offers two distinct modes. Utilize powerful, far-reaching attacks in Axe Mode, then switch to Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2's pre-season story.
Season 4 also introduces customizable Palico companions! These helpful allies aid in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur color, facial features, and even give them a unique name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for memorable photos.
Adding a social element, Friend Cheering allows you to support fellow hunters. Send a cheer to a friend for a temporary health boost, though there's a limit to the total health increase from cheers.
