This guide details how to complete the challenging Master Schindel's Toys quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This side quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."

The quest begins by locating Goatskin, an informant. Talking to the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam in Kuttenberg's bathhouse will lead you to Goatskin. Instead of directly confronting him, follow Udo, a bathhouse patron, home. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in a nearby alley, providing the opportunity to confront him.

Interrogating Goatskin may yield a map of the Kuttenberg Underground. If unsuccessful, bribery will reveal the map's location: on a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city).

Navigating the Kuttenberg Underground

To quickly locate the stolen items, find the underground entrance north of the open area, marked by a ladder. The underground is dark; use a torch. Follow a path of predominantly left turns, navigating a drop-down section, until you reach a barrel at a dead end. This barrel contains the stolen book and astrolabe.

Return to Master Schindel (northeastern Kuttenberg, usually during the day) with the recovered items to complete the quest, earning reputation and rewards. He'll even share some astronomical knowledge.
