This detail, spotted in the background of the anniversary logo on Sony's website, has ignited speculation about an imminent PS5 Pro launch, potentially at the end of the month. Although Sony hasn't officially announced a State of Play event, rumors persist of a major reveal later this month.
Meanwhile, PlayStation's 30th Anniversary Festivities Continue
Sony is celebrating its 30th anniversary with various events, including a free Gran Turismo 7 trial, digital soundtracks from classic games, and the "Shapes of Play" collection launching in December 2024 via direct.playstation.com in select regions (US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Benelux). A free online multiplayer weekend and esports tournaments are also scheduled for September 21st and 22nd, offering online multiplayer access without a PlayStation Plus subscription on PS5 and PS4.
