Flat2VR Studios has announced a virtual reality adaptation of the iconic trash-talking shooter, Postal 2, originally released 22 years ago. A debut trailer showcases the game's signature humor and chaotic gameplay, following the Dude as he embarks on a signature quest: gathering signatures to support the development of Postal 2 VR itself!
The trailer highlights key features of this VR remake, including a redesigned shooting mechanic optimized for VR controllers, a revamped user interface, and an updated mini-map system.
The Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, offering screenshots, system requirements, and further details. PC players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. Note that while subtitles will be available, Russian voiceovers are not included in this release.
While modernized with updated visuals and controls, the core Postal 2 experience remains intact. Players will still tackle mundane errands like grocery shopping and library book returns, but the freedom to descend into utter chaos remains a core gameplay element.
Postal 2 VR will launch on SteamVR, PS VR2, Quest 2, and Quest 3.
