Thanks to an exciting collaboration with Fujifilm's Instax, *Final Fantasy XIV*'s Patch 7.18 introduces the charming Photograph emote, available to all players at no extra cost. This delightful addition allows you to capture the essence of Eorzea by simulating photography in-game.

Unlike many other emotes that might require completing quests or making purchases, the Photograph emote is instantly accessible upon logging in after updating to Patch 7.18. There are no level or expansion pack prerequisites; simply ensure you have the latest patch installed, and the emote will be ready for you in your Emote menu.

To bring the magic of photography to your adventures, navigate to the "Social" tab and access your Emote menu. Scroll down to the "General" tab, and you'll find the "Photograph" emote near the bottom of the list. Select it, and watch as your character whips out a Fujifilm-style camera to snap a Polaroid picture. For easy access, consider adding it to your Favorites if you plan on using it frequently.

The Photograph emote, while not designed for continuous use or suitable for "AFK" scenarios, adds a dynamic flair to your gameplay. You can use it in various settings, from underwater adventures in the Ruby Sea to atop your mount, whether it's flying or grounded. It's perfect for creating intriguing, *Inception*-inspired moments with your fellow adventurers.

Patch 7.18 serves as a prelude to the more substantial Patch 7.2, scheduled for late March, which promises new dungeons, a revisit to the Arcadion, Cosmic Exploration, and more exciting content.

This guide covers everything you need to know about obtaining and using the Photograph emote in *Final Fantasy XIV*. For more tips and tricks, don't miss our guide on all rewards for the *FFXIV* Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event.
