Monopoly GO! Wild Stickers Explained

Mar 14,2025 Author: Jonathan

Monopoly GO, the mobile adaptation of the classic board game, has upped the ante with its expansive collection of boards and exciting Sticker collectibles. Traditionally, obtaining the right Sticker from a pack was a matter of chance. But that's changed with the introduction of the Wild Sticker—a game-changer for completing Sticker sets and albums.

Updated January 14th, 2025: Since its launch, the Wild Sticker has significantly aided Monopoly GO players in acquiring those elusive non-tradeable Gold Stickers and completing albums. It's a reliable solution for overcoming the frustration of needing just one or two Stickers to finish an album. Their versatility makes Wild Stickers highly desirable, potentially altering the game's trajectory in your favor.

What is a Wild Sticker in Monopoly GO?

A Wild Sticker is a unique card allowing you to choose *any* missing Sticker from your current album's set. This includes all tradeable Stickers and the difficult-to-obtain non-tradeable Gold Stickers. Unlike traditional Sticker acquisition, the Wild Sticker introduces a strategic element, letting you select precisely the Stickers you need to progress.

How to Use a Wild Sticker in Monopoly GO

Upon receiving a Wild Sticker, you'll see a list of all your missing Stickers for the current album. Simply choose the one you need to add it to your collection. You can select any Sticker, regardless of its rarity (four-star, five-star, or even rare Gold Stickers). Completing a set or album with a Wild Sticker earns you rewards similar to those from regular Sticker packs. Important note: your choice is final; you cannot undo it.

While Wild Stickers offer a guaranteed way to obtain new Stickers, there's a limitation: you must use it immediately; saving it for later isn't possible.

Are Purchased Wild Stickers Worth It?

Scopely frequently offers discounted Wild Stickers, particularly near the end of an album. This is tempting when you're close to completing a collection and claiming the grand prize. If you've exhausted other methods and are only missing one or two Stickers, purchasing a Wild Sticker might be worthwhile, especially considering the time saved in completing the album.
