Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC Specs Demand High-End Hardware for 4K
Square Enix has released updated PC specifications for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, highlighting the need for powerful hardware, especially for 4K resolution. Two weeks ahead of the PC launch, the updated requirements emphasize the need for high-end graphics cards with 12-16GB VRAM for optimal 4K gameplay.
The game will leverage DLSS upscaling, ShaderModel 6.6, and DirectX 12 Ultimate. Square Enix recommends a high-end graphics card with 12-16GB VRAM for 4K resolutions. This follows the November PS5 Pro enhancement patch, optimizing the game for Sony's upgraded console. Unlike Final Fantasy VII Remake, Rebirth will not receive DLC, as Square Enix focuses on Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3.
Revised PC specifications clarify that 12-16GB VRAM is recommended for 4K, alongside a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 OS, 155GB SSD storage, and 16GB RAM. A Ryzen 5 5600 or equivalent multi-core CPU is recommended, along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or better (supporting ShaderModel 6.6 and DirectX 12 Ultimate).
