How to Fast Travel in Dynasty Warriors Origins

In *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, the game's world map, while not open-world, expands as you progress through the main storyline, unlocking more provinces. Initially, the map is quite manageable, but as it grows, navigating it can become time-consuming, especially with the constant unlocking of new skirmishes and requests that often require backtracking. Fortunately, mastering fast travel in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* can significantly streamline your journey, making it easier to tackle all the side content the game has to offer.

How to Fast Travel in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

To fast travel in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, you'll need to use the Map screen to move between different Waymarks. Before you can fast travel to a Waymark, you must first unlock it by approaching it on the world map and holding down the X button if you're on PlayStation, or the A button if you're on Xbox. Once unlocked, the Waymark will appear on your map, allowing you to fast travel to it at any time.

To access the map when you're not in battle, you can either interact with an unlocked Waymark directly on the world map or pause the game and use the shoulder buttons to navigate to the Map menu. PlayStation users have an additional shortcut: simply press the Dual Sense touchpad while on the world map to bring up the map quickly, saving you precious seconds.

On the map screen, hovering over an unlocked Waymark will display any nearby key locations or battles. If you're searching for a specific battle or location, press the Square button on PlayStation or the X button on Xbox to toggle additional information. Then, use the Triangle button on PlayStation or the Y button on Xbox to cycle through a list of available battles and locations. Select the one you're interested in, and the cursor will move to the nearest Waymark, making your navigation more efficient and enjoyable.
