Currently, the PS5 version of the game suffers from blurry visuals when in performance mode, leaving owners of the base console with no choice but to wait for patches. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi has acknowledged that improvements are feasible within the technical constraints of the platform.

Players are eagerly anticipating that Square Enix will respond to fan requests and enhance the visuals on consoles.
While the team is diligently working on the sequel, game director Hamaguchi has asked fans to remain patient as more details will be shared in due time. Hamaguchi highlighted that 2024 was a successful year for Final Fantasy Rebirth, the second installment of the trilogy, which garnered global attention and won multiple awards.
