Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a crossover many anticipated. While the collaboration delivered a stylish item set, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation and debate regarding CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far less complex.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's lore expert and the decision-maker, clarified the choice. The bundle's design limited it to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Opting for the female V was a practical solution, especially considering Johnny's male character. Mills also admitted a personal preference for the female version.

Therefore, the omission of male V was a matter of practicality, not a deliberate decision. This Fortnite appearance marks Keanu Reeves' second skin in the game, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
