Astroweather 提供針對天文觀測最佳化的專業天氣預報。 這個基於網路的工具利用 7timer.org 的數據，結合天文天氣預報並顯示日落/日出和Moonrise/月落時間。
氣象預報主要來自 NOAA/NCEP 全球預報系統 (GFS) 數值天氣模式。 7Timer是Astroweather的基礎，起源於2005年7月，作為中國國家天文台支持的研究項目，在2008年和2011年進行了重大更新。目前由中國科學院上海天文台支持。 其最初的目的是解決不可預測的天氣影響觀星的問題。
Astroweather 提供全面的服務，包括：
- 天文事件預報
- 光污染地圖與衛星影像
- 恆星、行星、衛星和衛星的升起和落下時間
- 天文學愛好者論壇
