Application Description

Tarneeb is a card game played by two teams, each consisting of two players sitting opposite each other. Using a standard 52-card deck, gameplay proceeds counter-clockwise. The objective is for each player to estimate the number of "Allmat" (tricks) their team can win in each round.

The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" (trump suit) throws a type of paper to the floor; other players must then throw papers of the same type. The first player to successfully match the paper type wins the "Bamh" (trick). Tarneeb papers are the most powerful; a Tarneeb paper wins unless a stronger Tarneeb paper is played. The round ends when all players have discarded.

Points are tallied at the end of each round. A team only scores if they successfully achieve or exceed their bid for the number of Allmat. If successful, they add the number of Allmat won to their score. If unsuccessful, the number of Allmat they didn't win is subtracted from their score, and the number of Allmat won by the opposing team is added to their score.

If a team achieves 13 tricks without bidding for 13, they gain 16 points. If they bid for and achieve 13 tricks, they gain 26 points. Failure to achieve a bid of 13 results in a 16-point deduction.

The game concludes when one team reaches a total score of 41 or more points. That team is declared the winner.
