What is RSTI?
RSTI offers social security coverage for self-employed individuals, providing protection against illness, accidents, maternity, and a lifelong retirement pension.
Who is a Self-Employed Worker (RSTI Eligibility)?
RSTI covers all self-employed workers residing in Côte d'Ivoire, both Ivorian and foreign nationals. This includes a wide range of professions, such as farmers, artisans, traders, transporters, athletes, artists, consultants, miners, independent entrepreneurs, religious workers, and Ivorians working abroad.
RSTI Benefits:
- Illness/Accident: Receive income support based on declared earnings during periods of incapacity.
- Maternity: Receive income support for 98 days based on declared earnings.
- Retirement: Receive a lifelong retirement pension starting at age 60.
- Death: Pension benefits are payable to designated beneficiaries under specific conditions.
