OsmAnd is a versatile offline world map application based on OpenStreetMap (OSM), designed to help you navigate with consideration for preferred roads and vehicle dimensions. It allows you to plan routes based on inclines and record GPX tracks without needing an internet connection.

As an open-source app, OsmAnd prioritizes your privacy by not collecting user data. You have full control over what data the app can access.

Map View

• Customize your map by choosing what places to display, such as attractions, food, health services, and more.
• Search for locations by address, name, coordinates, or category.
• Select from various map styles tailored for different activities, including touring, nautical, winter and ski, topographic, desert, off-road, and others.

GPS Navigation

• Navigate to any destination without an internet connection.

• Modify routes to exclude certain roads or surfaces.
• Access customizable widgets displaying route information such as distance, speed, remaining travel time, and distance to the next turn.

Route Planning and Recording

• Plan routes point by point using one or multiple navigation profiles.
• Record your journeys using GPX tracks.
• Manage GPX tracks by displaying and navigating through your own or imported tracks.
• View detailed route data, including descents/ascents and distances.
• Share your GPX tracks on OpenStreetMap.

Creation of Points with Different Functionality
