Kuro Games' hit open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves, has just received a major update: version 1.4, titled "When the Night Knocks." This update plunges players into a world of mystery and illusion, introducing a chilling atmosphere and a wealth of new content.
Two new Resonators, the enigmatic five-star Camellya and the adorable but fiery four-star Lumi, join the roster. Lumi becomes a permanent addition to the Afterglow Coral Store, while Camellya is a limited-time character featured in Phase I of the "End of the Lost Trailer" event.
The update also introduces the Somnium Labyrinth, a challenging rogue-like adventure within the revamped Somnoire: Illusive Realms. Players face perilous choices in this dreamy yet unsettling realm, warned of impending darkness should they fail.
New weaponry enhances the combat experience. The five-star Red Spring weapon arrives in Phase I, followed by the Stringmaster and Verity's Handle in Phase II. A new weapon transmogrification feature, or Weapon Projection, allows players to customize the appearance of select weapons, including the Somnoire Anchor and the Formless Series.
Version 1.4 expands the narrative with a new companion story, "Forking Path Among the Stars," focusing on Camellya. This story includes new Echoes, with the Phantom: Inferno Rider making its debut.
Whether you're drawn to the narrative, the combat, or the exploration, Wuthering Waves version 1.4 offers something for every player.
