Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, crafted by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has recently surfaced.
The trailer emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging neural network technology for its creation. The video features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, and Priscilla, among others. While there are subtle stylistic differences, the characters remain easily identifiable.
Recently, the developers of Witcher 3 hinted at plans to incorporate Triss's wedding into the game. Originally envisioned as the "Ashen Marriage" quest in Novigrad, the storyline depicts Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt aids in the wedding preparations, undertaking tasks such as ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.
Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the gift chosen. Less elaborate gifts are less well-received, while a memory rose – a familiar item from Witcher 2 – elicits a strong emotional response.
