After the opening section of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you'll have more freedom to explore and take on side quests. One such quest involves finding Vostatek's horse, Pepik, a task rewarding you handsomely upon completion.

You can also speak with Vitek to initiate the quest; Zlata directs you to him anyway. He's slightly southeast of the house (marked 'B' on the map above). This leads you north to where you'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing Vostatek, he asks you to carry him to his campsite where he tethered Pepik. Follow his directions; it's straightforward. Be mindful of your stamina; depleting it too much will cause you to drop Vostatek.
Upon reaching the campsite, Vostatek discovers Pepik is missing. Follow the clues along the path; examine each one when prompted. This trail leads you to a poacher's camp.
Screenshot by The EscapistAs suspected, poachers have stolen Pepik. He's at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups. Those near the camp's edge are easier targets; many will beg for mercy. You can even bypass the tougher poachers in the camp itself, escaping with Pepik before they attack.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can choose to ride with him back to his home (a fast travel option). Your reward: Groschen and a place to stay whenever needed.
With Pepik returned, continue with other quests, pursue romance, or spend your well-earned Groschen on new equipment.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
