The competitive landscape of the gacha game market continues to evolve. February 2025 financial reports indicate revenue dips for several leading titles, including prominent players like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.

Developer miHoYo (HoYoverse) saw decreased revenue across its three major gacha games. Honkai Star Rail slipped to fourth place, earning $46.5 million, down from $50.8 million. Genshin Impact, after a surge from its Mavuika banner event, experienced a significant drop, falling to sixth place with $26.3 million in revenue (down from over $99 million). Zenless Zone Zero also saw a decline, dropping to eighth place with $17.9 million (down from $26.3 million). However, upcoming content updates featuring new characters are expected to boost revenue for all three titles.
Pokemon TCG Pocket claimed the top spot in February 2025, generating $79 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace secured second place with $49.5 million, followed by Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle in third with $47 million.
