World of Tanks Blitz launches a unique marketing campaign: a cross-country road trip with a real tank!
Wargaming is taking a decommissioned, graffiti-covered tank on a U.S. tour to promote its recent collaboration with Deadmau5. The tank, street-legal and safe, made its debut in Los Angeles during The Game Awards.
This eye-catching vehicle showcases the Deadmau5 collaboration event within World of Tanks Blitz, offering players the chance to acquire the exclusive Mau5tank, complete with lights, speakers, and music. The event also features themed quests, camos, and cosmetic items.
The campaign's playful approach to game promotion is undeniably humorous, though perhaps frustrating to some hardcore military simulation enthusiasts. However, this lighthearted stunt is harmless and adds a fun element to the game's marketing.
