NetherRealm and WB Games have released the much-anticipated gameplay trailer for T-1000, set to join the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 next Tuesday. This character stands out with his unique ability to transform into liquid metal, enabling him to creatively evade projectiles. T-1000 is poised to capture the hearts of fans, especially those who cherished playing as Kabal in previous iterations. Although Kabal isn't featured in this game, his iconic weapons and moves have been cleverly integrated into Mortal Kombat 1.
The trailer is rich with nods to the classic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. A standout moment recreates the memorable scene where T-1000 wags his finger—a gesture famously banned in the NBA for being unsportsmanlike. Another reference includes T-1000 inquiring about John Connor's whereabouts from Johnny Cage.
Alongside T-1000, the trailer introduces Madam Bo, who will also be added to the game. In an impressive display of his capabilities, T-1000's Fatality showcases his liquid metal transformation, allowing him to assume the appearance of his victim, efficiently fulfilling his mission.
WB Games has not made any additional announcements. Speculation is rife that this might be the final content update for Mortal Kombat 1, with whispers of a new game announcement on the horizon. However, these remain unconfirmed rumors.
