Nightdive Studios' revamped version of the 1999 sci-fi horror RPG, initially titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, is getting a name change and a new platform. Now called System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, it's launching on Nintendo Switch alongside its previously announced PC and console releases.

The official synopsis reads:
The year is 2114. Awakening from cryo-sleep aboard the Von Braun starship, you find yourself suffering from amnesia. Something has gone drastically wrong. Hybrid mutants and lethal robots prowl the ship's corridors, their chilling cries echoing through the vessel's cold hull. SHODAN, a malevolent AI hellbent on humanity's annihilation, has seized control. The fate of mankind rests on your shoulders. Nightdive Studios confirmed that a release date and a new trailer will debut during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
