Among the Exhibitors
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will be a major presence at the Tokyo Game Show 2024's main exhibition, marking their first full return in four years. The official exhibitor list confirms SIE's participation with multiple booths spanning Halls 1 to 8 among a total of 731 exhibitors and 3190 booths. While Sony had a presence at TGS 2023, it was limited to the indie game showcase. This year, they rejoin major publishers like Capcom and Konami in the main exhibition hall.
Sony's plans for their showcase remain undisclosed. A State of Play presentation in May announced several 2024 releases, many of which will likely be out by the time TGS rolls around. Additionally, Sony's recent financial reports indicated no plans for new major franchise releases before April 2025.
