EA has finally unveiled Battlefield Studios and given us our first glimpse of the next *Battlefield* game. To help shape the future of the franchise, you can sign up for Battlefield Labs and gain early access to *Battlefield 6*. Here's how.
What is Battlefield Labs?

EA's Battlefield Labs program offers select fans the chance to directly influence the development of the next Battlefield title. Chosen participants will gain access to early, remote playtests and provide invaluable feedback to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios. Think of it as a direct line to the war room!
Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be invited, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?
While EA has previously run betas, Battlefield Labs operates differently. The content will be work-in-progress, meaning expect more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than a typical beta. EA is actively seeking feedback on core gameplay elements like combat loops, map flow, and balance. Important note: Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early Access
Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and register. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred platform, and then sign in. Be aware, you might encounter a queue; if so, you'll have 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives, so keep an eye on that tab!
After accessing the sign-up, complete the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations if you're selected.
EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in FY26, meaning before April 1, 2026.
