Mastering Fishing in Rune Slayer: A Comprehensive Guide
If you're wondering if Rune Slayer is an MMORPG, the answer is a resounding "yes"—it features fishing! This guide will walk you through the surprisingly non-intuitive fishing mechanics.

Before you start reeling in the catch, you'll need to complete a crucial step:
Screenshot by The EscapistAccept the fishing quest from Simon the Fisherman (the white-haired NPC near the Barracuda's swimming area). He'll task you with catching 5 items, rewarding you with a Tackle Box upon completion.
Next, acquire your fishing supplies from Simon: a Wood Fishing Rod and at least 5 Worms (10 is recommended).

-
Hold M1 to cast your line into the water (the pier by Simon works well).
-
Watch the bobber; when it ripples (once or twice), click M1 again to reel in your catch.
Important Note: Success isn't guaranteed. You might catch nothing, or you might catch junk. Don't worry; Simon counts junk as a successful catch!
