Pokémon TCG Pocket’s highly anticipated trading feature arrives January 29th, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th. This expansion introduces beloved Pokémon from the Sinnoh region.

The trading feature, as the name suggests, lets you exchange cards with friends, mirroring the in-person experience. Trade hourglasses and tokens will be required. This addition promises a more authentic Pokémon TCG Pocket experience.

Space-Time Smackdown brings fan-favorite Sinnoh Pokémon to the game. Two new digital booster packs feature the legendary Dialga and Palkia.

ytBeyond the legendaries, popular Pokémon like Lucario and the Sinnoh starter trio—Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup—will also be available through Wonder Pick and traditional booster packs.

This update is sure to be a hit, especially with the addition of long-awaited Pokémon. While some concerns about the trading mechanics have surfaced, developers have promised ongoing adjustments.
