Netflix Games Adds Don

Don’t Starve Together, the co-op spin-off of the popular Don’t Starve, is setting up camp on Netflix Games. Work in groups of five to explore a huge, unpredictable globe in this oddball wilderness survival game. You gotta share your resources, make equipment, and establish a base of operations while fending off hunger and avoiding creepy crawlies (and worse!).World Of WeirdDon’t Starve Together drops you into a Tim Burton-esque forest full of strange animals, undiscovered perils, and old secrets. You must gather resources to make tools, weapons, and shelters as you travel this peculiar planet. There’s a reason the game is called Don’t Starve. Division and conquest allow some players to forage for food while others construct a stronghold, or you might improvise a farm to fend off hunger. There is strength in numbers, as night falls and creepy crawlies emerge.Playable characters in the game also have unique skills. There’s an oddball character out there for everyone. There’s Wilson, the science guy, who’s excellent at building contraptions, and also Willow, the spooky goth whose pyromaniac tendencies can keep herself from the darkness-stalking monster. If you’re feeling daring, you might even investigate the secrets of “The Constant,” an enigmatic entity that appears to be the source of all this craziness. The world is vast and ever-changing, so you’ll never run out of places to explore. But the most essential part of it is to survive the night. Hunger is a constant threat, and the world is teeming with dangers. There are seasonal boss battles, shadowy monsters, and even the occasional grumpy critter looking for a midnight snack (and that snack might be you).Netflix has not yet given an official release date for Don’t Starve Together, but it’s rumored it will drop sometime in mid-July.
