Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.
In a recent 4Gamer interview, Okamura stated, "We are dedicating significant resources to completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He emphasized that the remake is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on polishing gameplay and enhancing the overall experience.
While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, that timeline proved unattainable. Current projections, confirmed by studio representatives, point to a 2025 launch. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game promises to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. This over two-minute cinematic showcase highlights key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, a thrilling airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
