InZOI will feature ghosts, an afterlife, and a karma system

InZOI's Game Director, Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim, reveals intriguing details about the game's paranormal elements. Players will gain limited control over ghosts, a mechanic intricately linked to InZOI's karma system. This system tracks player actions, influencing not only their current lives but also their afterlife.

A character's karma determines their post-death fate: peaceful transition to the afterlife or a ghostly existence among the living. Ghosts, needing to atone for karmic deficiencies, must earn missing points to finally depart the mortal realm.

While the early access version features ghosts, player control is a future addition. The developer emphasizes InZOI's focus on realistic gameplay, keeping paranormal aspects subtle. However, future updates may introduce additional unexplained phenomena.
