Locate the Bug Catcher's Cabin Warp Spire (southwest of Florawish). Head east towards the shoreline until you see the Swan Gazebo. Follow the stone path. Facing the Gazebo, turn right towards the river. A Whimstar orb will be nearby, initiating the puzzle. This Whimstar puzzle requires locating a hidden star shape. These shapes can be small and difficult to spot, especially on mobile devices.
From the orb's location, return towards the Swan Gazebo, moving eastward on the map. Examine the pillar on the Gazebo's right side; it features a hanging star decoration. Interacting with this decoration reveals the Whimstar where the orb previously was, near the river.
