Good news for Gundam fans! Despite a radio silence since 2022, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is alive and kicking, preparing for a network test open to US players!
A limited number of spots (1500) are available, and applications are open now until December 7th. Selected participants will get an exclusive sneak peek at the game from January 23rd to 28th, 2025. This marks the first opportunity for US players to experience the latest strategy JRPG in the franchise.
SD Gundam G Generation Eternal lets you command a vast roster of pilots and mecha from the iconic Gundam universe in strategic, grid-based battles. The game's sheer scale, encompassing nearly every pilot and mobile suit from the franchise’s history, is a hallmark of the series.
While Gundam's global popularity is undeniable, the SD Gundam line might be less familiar to some. "Super Deformed" SD Gundam kits are smaller, stylized versions of the classic mecha, once so popular they even outshone the originals!
A US Debut
The anticipation for this new SD Gundam title is high. However, Bandai Namco's track record with the series has been somewhat inconsistent, with some releases falling short or being prematurely cancelled. Let's hope SD Gundam G Generation Eternal (a mouthful, isn't it?) proves to be a high-quality addition to the franchise!
