Goat Simulator's Goat Direct showcase concluded today, and while fans might have expected a barrage of practical jokes, the event was surprisingly tame in that regard. Instead, the focus was on a range of new merchandise, including plushies and a new CRKD controller line, alongside a sneak peek at an upcoming card game.
The highlight for many, however, was the announcement that the Goat Simulator 3 expansion pack, Multiverse of Nonsense, is set to launch on mobile devices soon. While a specific release date remains under wraps, more details are expected to be shared in the near future. As the name suggests, Multiverse of Nonsense will transport players into a parallel universe brimming with bizarre and whimsical transformations, from cartoon-themed towns to cities populated entirely by goats and mythical mountaintops.

In addition to the expansion pack, Coffee Stain North unveiled a free update for Goat Simulator 3 in celebration of April Fool's Day. This 10th-anniversary update introduces 27 new pieces of gear, two new events in San Angora, and a new goat skin inspired by the upcoming Pilgor plushie, set to be released later this year.
The lack of practical jokes at Goat Direct might seem unusual for a series known for its irreverence, but it's perhaps a fitting choice. With the series already featuring so many outlandish additions, adding more fictional elements might have frustrated fans eagerly awaiting real content.
