Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Unveiling Nasha Town and Nod-Krai

Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers strongly suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both slated for release in Version 6.0. With Natlan's Archon Quest nearing completion, development focus shifts towards Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, exceeding even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, a strategy likely to unfold across multiple updates.

Initial leaks suggested Nod-Krai as a separate region, but recent datamining confirms its placement as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya. Its strategic location as a major trade hub connects Snezhnaya to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's descriptions place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost reaches, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.

Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly connects to Mont Esus, a previously rumored Fontaine expansion area. While not confirming Mont Esus's release timeline, this connection strengthens the likelihood of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai's proximity.

Exploring Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province

Nod-Krai functions as both a region and a city on Snezhnaya's southern border. Despite the Voynich Guild's attempts at maintaining order, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town is a key settlement within this province, and its inhabitants reportedly wield a power predating Teyvat's seven Elements.

Dividing Snezhnaya into multiple parts is a potentially controversial but practically necessary decision. The sheer scale of Snezhnaya, both narratively and developmentally, makes a single-year release improbable. Following Natlan's Archon Quest conclusion in Version 5.3, subsequent updates will gradually introduce Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains unclear, Skirk, a character with ties to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners, is set to become playable in Natlan. Barring unforeseen delays, Version 6.0 is anticipated to launch on September 10, 2025.
