Eterspire, the indie mobile MMORPG, is getting a Christmas-themed makeover

Jan 04,2025 Author: Natalie

Eterspire, the indie-developed mobile MMORPG, is getting a festive Christmas update! Get ready to explore the hub town, Stonehollow, decked out in holiday cheer.

This update also introduces a scorching new desert region: Alcalaga. Brave the virtual heat while exploring ancient temples and enjoying the sun, a welcome contrast to the real-world winter chill.

Stonehollow Workshop's accomplishment in creating and maintaining Eterspire is remarkable, given the challenges of developing and supporting an MMORPG. The game's success is even more impressive considering the increasingly competitive mobile MMORPG market, fueled in part by RuneScape's successful mobile launch.

The Christmas update includes:

  • Holiday decorations in Stonehollow
  • Free cosmetic items
  • New main storyline content
  • Alcalaga, the new desert region
  • Boss balancing adjustments
  • Improved map UI

Eterspire's continued growth and success in a demanding genre are truly commendable. But if you're looking for something beyond MMORPGs, check out our list of the top five new mobile games this week!
