How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
*E.R.P.O.* continually introduces new monsters, so it's wise to bookmark this page for the latest updates and strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides for each monster, along with general combat tactics to help you survive:
Melee Combat: Arm yourself with melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These weapons will spawn in your next level; pick them up with M1 and swing at monsters to inflict damage. Be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Adopt a hit-and-run approach to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee encounters.
Grenades and Mines: These explosives are also available in the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and then throw it or leave it on the ground to detonate, causing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming tougher ones. Mines require placement; once set, wait for a monster to trigger them.
Monster Brawl: Cleverly use one monster against another. For instance, lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise, either by walking or using Voice chat. Similarly, pull Reapers into each other's attack paths to cause mutual damage.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a large shadowy figure, is dangerous on contact, capable of grabbing and damaging you. Your best strategy is to keep your distance. You can crouch to hide from it, or employ kiting tactics to evade its grasp. Alternatively, you can eliminate it using two Grenades or Mines by luring it into your trap. Melee combat is not advised due to Robe's high damage output. Beware, as it teleports and accelerates towards you when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper, resembling a raggedy doll with spinning sword arms, is a melee threat. While it can be kited or avoided similarly to the Robe, it doesn't teleport, making it somewhat easier to manage. It's more vulnerable to melee attacks than the Robe, requiring just one grenade and a couple of hits to defeat. Grenades and mines also stun the Reaper, giving you an opening to attack.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

Don't let their cute appearance fool you; these ducks are non-hostile until provoked. They follow you harmlessly until you grab or damage them, which enrages them. Once enraged, they relentlessly chase and bite, dealing low damage. Outrunning them or using melee weapons are effective counters. While grenades can kill them, it's overkill given their low health.
Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind marksman, poses a lethal threat with his one-shot capability. He relies on sound to locate you, triggered by fast movement or voice chat. To evade him, crouch and hide under tables. Melee combat is risky due to his auto-aim; instead, use mines or grenades strategically. Place a mine where he's likely to step, or throw a grenade while crouched to stun him for six seconds, giving you a window to attack with melee weapons.
