Drecom, the creators of Wizardry Variants: Daphne, have dropped a cryptic teaser for their upcoming game, Hungry Meem. Details are scarce, but the intrigue is palpable.
This isn't your typical announcement; many developers rush to reveal all. However, Drecom is using mystery to their advantage. While the platform and gameplay remain shrouded in secrecy, a teaser website features peculiar creatures near a tree stump. A full reveal is planned for January 15th.
Drecom's previous successes include Wizardry Variants: Daphne (released on mobile last year) and the enduringly popular One Piece: Treasure Cruise.
Feeling hungry?The mystery, however, presents a challenge. The "push a button" promotional strategy suggests a mobile release. Gameplay speculation ranges from creature collection to an augmented reality "gotta catch 'em all" style.
We await the official announcement later this month. Given Drecom's history of experimentation, surprises are likely.
