Code Geass: Lost Stories, the strategic tower defense game, is waving goodbye to global mobile players as its shutdown has been confirmed. Based on the anime and manga franchise Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, its Japanese version will still continue its saga.Sunrise created the manga, while the game has been developed by f4samurai and DMM Games and published by Komoe. Code Geass launched globally in September 2023. So, it didn’t even make it to its first anniversary!When Is It Shutting Down?Code Geass: Lost Stories will be shutting down on August 29th, 2024. You have a limited time left to enjoy the game, as you won’t be able to log into your accounts after this date. The game’s official global social media accounts will also close on August 29th.Starting today, you won’t be able to download or make purchases related to the game. While the game didn’t manage to survive globally, it had its moments in Japan. Many Japanese players still enjoy the gameplay.Why Is Code Geass: Lost Stories Shutting Down?The game combines RPG and action genres with tower defense and is based on a popular anime. Despite that, it’s shutting down. Although the devs didn’t specify the reasons behind it, it’s quite evident why it’s pulling the plug.The game’s downloads were quite low and the global version didn’t receive many positive reviews.
