Warcraft's 30th Anniversary Celebrated in Candy Crush Saga!
Blizzard is marking Warcraft's 30th anniversary with a surprising collaboration: a team-based event within Candy Crush Saga! From November 22nd to December 6th, players can choose to fight for the Humans (Team Tiffi) or the Orcs (Team Yeti) in a series of match-3 challenges.
This unique crossover pits the iconic Warcraft factions against each other in a competitive event featuring qualifiers, knockouts, and finals. Victorious players will earn impressive rewards, including 200 in-game gold bars.
An Unexpected Partnership
This collaboration between the renowned strategy game franchise and the popular casual puzzle game is certainly unexpected. However, given both Warcraft and Candy Crush Saga's immense popularity and their shared corporate lineage, the partnership seems almost inevitable in retrospect.
