Blastoise Returns in Pokémon TCG Pocket's Latest Wonder Events

Apr 04,2025 Author: Emery

Pokémon TCG Pocket is rolling out its latest Wonder Pick event, spotlighting the iconic water-type Pokémon, Blastoise. This event, running until January 21st, offers players a chance to snag exclusive cards and Blastoise-themed cosmetics, including a unique coin and playmat.

Wonder Pick events are a thrilling feature of Pokémon TCG Pocket, where players can choose from a selection of five random cards drawn from booster packs opened by players worldwide. In addition to the card selection, participants can complete missions to earn shop tokens. These tokens can then be used to acquire the Blastoise-themed items, adding a personalized touch to your gaming experience.

Blastoise, a beloved member of the original Pokémon lineup, needs little introduction to longtime fans. Alongside Trainer Blue, this event introduces new cosmetic items such as a display board backdrop and binder cover, enhancing your collection with a nostalgic flair.

For those who missed out on previous events featuring Charmander and Squirtle, don't worry—these are still available. If you've already collected those, the Blastoise event adds even more exciting items to your haul.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has been a much-anticipated release on mobile platforms, filling a gap left by the absence of a quality adaptation of the classic card game that launched this expansive multimedia franchise. While it's impossible to cover every possible card combination, our guides aim to give you a solid overview.
