This guide covers all Easter Eggs discovered in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map. From the challenging main quest to smaller secrets offering free perks, this map is packed with hidden content.
Citadelle Des Morts continues the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline, following the team's escape from Terminus Island to find Gabrielle Krafft and the Sentinel Artifact before Edward Richtofen. The map itself is considered one of the best in the series and boasts numerous secrets. These Easter Eggs are exceptionally creative, often rewarding players with unique items.
The main quest involves locating the demonologist, Gabriel Krafft, completing trials and rituals, acquiring an Amulet, and facing a challenging boss fight. A detailed walkthrough is available.
This side quest, accessible only with Maya as your Operator, focuses on revenge against Franco. While primarily story-driven, it rewards players with a Legendary GS45. A complete walkthrough is provided.
Obtaining the Elemental Bastard Swords, while arguably part of the main quest, is a significant undertaking. Players acquire the base sword by using a Stamp on one of four statues in the Dining Hall. These can then be upgraded into powerful Elemental Wonder Weapons: Caliburn, Durendal, Solais, and Balmung, each with unique effects. A guide details how to obtain each.
Using the Caliburn fire sword, players can ignite four fireplaces (Tavern, Sitting Rooms, Alchemical Lab, Dining Hall). Igniting all four triggers a fiery attack on nearby enemies.
Citadelle Des Morts features seven scattered power-ups, with an eighth (Fire Sale) appearing after collecting all others. A guide shows their locations.
This Easter Egg involves finding and feeding cheese to 10 rats scattered throughout the map, rewarding players with high-tier loot and a crown. A guide is available.
Summon the Guardian Knight Chess Piece by finding a knight piece (four possible locations), bringing it to a chessboard in the Sitting Rooms, and completing a ritual. A guide provides instructions.
Locate three alcohol bottles and bring them to the Tavern to participate in a minigame, rewarding players with the PHD Flopper Perk. A detailed guide is provided.
Find and shoot Mr. Peeks in four locations to receive a random free Perk. A guide helps locate Mr. Peeks.
While pursuing the Dark Incantation, instead of immediately shooting the raven in the Oubliette Room Cave Slide, following it for several minutes will result in a free random Perk.
The Wishing Well in Ascent Village, during special rounds, allows players to gain Essence by killing the Vermin and tossing a grenade. Essence can be deposited and shared, or doubled with a Double Points Power-Up.
Using the Rampart Cannon 100 times to travel to the Town Square allows players to ring the bell tower, summoning zombies and rewarding them with two Cymbal Monkeys. Further steps may exist.
Locate and interact with three Mr. Peeks Headsets to trigger a music Easter Egg featuring Slave by Kevin Sherwood. A guide provides locations.
