Crazy Ones, a newly released otome game with a male protagonist, is now available. This unique title blends turn-based battles with a narrative-driven dating simulation. Players interact with four distinct female characters, each possessing a unique personality.
The term "one-of-a-kind" is subjective, but Crazy Ones stands out as the first male-centric, turn-based otome game, a fact that initially piqued my interest. Inspired by Steve Jobs' famous quote, "Here's to the Crazy Ones," the game casts you as a male character navigating the intense world of big business and romance.
Four distinct love interests await: Hakuo, the dependable HR manager; Hyouka Natsume, the tsundere president of rival Natsume Technology Group; Chika Ono, an aspiring musician; and Tomoko, the protagonist's protégé. Gameplay incorporates turn-based card battles utilizing the protagonist's memories.

While Crazy Ones emphasizes emotional connections over simple fanservice, and its title hints at potential narrative surprises, it ultimately appears to be a solid visual novel for genre enthusiasts. However, the game's marketing of simultaneous romances raises some concerns.
Despite my reservations, I encourage you to experience Crazy Ones for yourself. It's currently available on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
