NCSOFT has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, a surprising move considering the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
When is the Battle Crush EOS?
The game servers will be taken offline on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, players who made in-app purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Be sure to download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and Discord will be shut down on January 31st, 2025.
Does it Surprise You?
The sudden closure of Battle Crush is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort into the game. While enjoyable, Battle Crush faced challenges, including somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues. These factors likely contributed to the decision to end service.
You can still experience Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the servers close. For those looking for a new mobile gaming experience, stay tuned for our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
