In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, giving snacks to animals is a straightforward yet effective way to boost their friendship levels. As you increase an animal's friendship, you'll gain more experience toward your Camp Manager Level, making snacks a valuable tool, especially when you're starting out. However, snacks are not easy to come by, with the most dependable source being Gulliver's Ship. Understanding which snacks to give and how many can significantly impact your progress.
How to Get Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete
Gulliver's Ship Guide
To obtain snacks, the most reliable method is through Gulliver's Ship, which you can send to special gold islands to collect Villager Maps. Completing all souvenirs on a special island rewards you with 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected every Villager Map, you'll need to send Gulliver's Ship to whatever islands are available on the map. For Gold Treats, focus on completing any Isle of Style, which will give you 3 Gold Treats as a souvenir and another 3 as a completion bonus.
You can view three islands at once, and you can refresh them once a day for free by tapping the icon in the upper-right corner. To use Gulliver's Ship, you'll need cargo, which can be crafted from your furniture catalog. Some islands may require specific furniture; for instance, to obtain modern-themed snacks, set sail for Exotic Island with a Plain Package, Plain Crate, or exotic-themed furniture like an Exotic Rug.
By tapping the magnifying glass on the island's icon, you can preview the type of snack available. Islands that take longer to clear, such as 6 hours, typically offer more treats than those that take 4 hours or less. For example, Piano Island offers every type of Tart Snack (Plain Tart, Tasty Tart, Gourmet Tart).
Other Ways to Get Snacks
- You can earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats by fulfilling Requests with rare items or receiving gifts from visitors at your campsite or cabin.
- Silver and Gold Treats are also available as rewards for Daily Goals, so make sure to check them regularly.
- If you have Villager Maps, use Blathers's Treasure Trek with Auto-Trek (which costs 5 Leaf Tokens) to collect every treat on the map. The snacks from Villager Maps are always Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.

Which Snack Should You Give to Animals
How to Give Snacks
Before giving a snack, always check the animal's theme, as they receive more friendship points from snacks that match their theme. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats are generic and liked by all animals, with Gold Treats offering the highest friendship points at 25 per treat. Giving 10 Gold Treats to a level 1 animal can boost them to level 15.
To find out an animal's theme, tap their icon at your campsite or cabin to see the theme icon near their name. If you encounter an animal on the map, you can check their theme through your Contacts or at Pete's Parcel Service.
To give a snack, simply tap the animal on the screen and select "Have a snack!" This option is always highlighted in red, indicating that you'll earn friendship points with each gift.
