HOW TO PLAY

Ludo is a classic dice and race game, played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each controlling two houses with a total of eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home position before your opponent does.

MOVEMENT OF PIECES

The player with the red house initiates the game. If a player wins, the next game begins with the loser starting with the red house. A piece can exit the house only when a die roll results in a 6. Once on the track, pieces can move with any die outcome. The track consists of 56 steps from home to the center of the board. A piece can be removed from the board upon completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.

PIECE CAPTURE

A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece by landing on the same block. The captured piece must return to its starting position, while the capturing piece remains on the board. The key to winning is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding being captured. A piece cannot capture if the remaining die roll cannot be used after the capture.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. A player can roll the dice consecutively if each roll results in a 6.
2. The outcome of a die roll must be played before rolling again, regardless of the result.
3. For smoother gameplay, enable the "DIRECT COUNT" feature in the settings menu.
