The Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems are essential tools for individuals managing diabetes, offering a seamless way to monitor your glucose levels without the need for fingersticks and calibration*. These innovative systems are designed to keep you informed about your current glucose number and its trajectory, aiding in effective diabetes treatment decisions.

*Note that fingersticks are required if your symptoms do not align with the readings provided by the system.

Designed for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients, the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro deliver real-time glucose readings every five minutes, and are suitable for children aged 2 years and older. A key feature of these systems is their ability to provide timely alarms and alerts based on your glucose levels, helping you stay on top of your health at all times.

With the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro, you can receive personalized trend alerts directly on your smart device, allowing you to monitor when your glucose levels are moving dangerously low or high. This feature empowers you to manage your diabetes more effectively. The Alert Schedule** function enables you to customize a secondary set of alerts to match your daily routine, such as different settings for work hours versus the rest of the day. You can choose from various custom alert sounds, including a Vibrate-Only option, except for the Urgent Low Alarm, which cannot be disabled.

The Always Sound** setting, enabled by default, ensures that you receive crucial Dexcom CGM Alerts even when your phone's sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. This allows you to silence calls and texts while still receiving audible alerts for critical situations, such as the Urgent Low Alarm, Low and High Glucose alerts, Urgent Low Soon Alert**, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts**. A convenient home screen icon indicates whether your alerts are set to sound. For safety, certain alerts, including the Urgent Low Alarm, Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped, cannot be silenced.

Additional features of the Dexcom G6 include the ability to Share** your glucose data with up to ten followers in real time using the Dexcom Follow** app, requiring an internet connection. You can also access Health Connect to share retrospective glucose data with third-party apps, and use the Quick Glance feature to view your glucose data on your smart device's lock screen. For those using Wear OS watches, integration allows you to receive glucose alerts and alarms directly on your wrist.

**These features are not available on the Dexcom G6 Pro System.
