Application Description

Introducing the perfect radio app designed for USB DAB+ receivers, tailored specifically for car headunits. This app boasts a user-friendly interface that's easy to navigate, even on the go. Enjoy the smooth operation of the slideshow feature, though note that station logos are not supported. Importantly, no internet connection is needed, making it a reliable choice for your driving experience.

Please be aware: You must have a compatible USB receiver with one of the following device IDs for the app to function: 0416:b003, 0fd9:004c, 16c0:05dc, or 1d19:110d. Without one of these receivers, the app will not work.

• Save the currently visible infotext to a file with an append option, and easily share or export that file.

Existing Features

• Customize the color of the info text simply by touching and holding the info text area.
• Experimental support for steering wheel button operation, enhancing your driving convenience:
  • Skip Next button advances to the next station.
  • Skip Previous button goes to the previous station.
  • Play button cycles through filters: "All" stations, "Selected Program Type", and "Favourites".

While this app may not rival the capabilities of the renowned "DAB-Z" app, it's an ideal solution for those with larger fingers and less responsive touchscreens. The interface is intentionally kept simple and optimized for car screens, featuring large buttons and selection areas to accommodate imperfectly calibrated touchscreens.

The app is optimized for car screens with a resolution of 1024x600 in landscape mode. If you encounter display issues with a different resolution, feel free to post your feedback on the XDA Developers website.

This app is built upon the HRadio example code by IRT GmbH (Fabian Sattler), which is released under the Apache License 2.0.
