Battle of Sudoku: A Multiplayer Sudoku Showdown!

Love Sudoku? Battle of Sudoku lets you play against other players or teams! The goal is classic Sudoku: fill a 9x9 grid with digits so each column, row, and 3x3 subgrid contains all digits from 1 to 9.

Before starting, choose a difficulty level (1-6, 1 being easiest, 6 hardest). This sets the initial numbers, which all players must solve simultaneously. Everyone begins with the same puzzle.

Game Modes:

• Show Opponent's Correct Numbers: Each correctly placed number is visible to all players, earning you points. You can't use a number already placed by someone else. Speed and accuracy are key!
• Hidden Correct Numbers: Players can't see each other's correct numbers. This allows for multiple players to earn points for the same correct number.

Time-Outs: Incorrect numbers result in a time-out (default 30 seconds, configurable).

Scoring: Correct numbers earn points based on difficulty level (higher level = more points). Incorrect numbers cost you half the points you would have gained.

Winning: The game ends when the puzzle is solved. The player with the most points wins. If "Show Opponent's Correct Numbers" is disabled, the game ends when one player solves it, though this doesn't grant extra points; other players can still win by making fewer mistakes.

Team Play: Team up! Two teams compete. Points are added to your team's total score. Notes and filled colors are shared within your team, enabling collaborative strategies.

Solving Tools:

• Pen Tool: Add notes to squares (mini-numbers). Clicking a number already present removes it.
• Fill Mode: Change the background color of any square.
