Application Description

Base is a gamified educational app leveraging the popularity of football to enhance learning in schools. Base, its teacher-partner tool, aims to revitalize classroom dynamics, making learning fun and engaging. The app's initial phase features a three-season structure, mirroring sports tournaments. Each season comprises four competitive levels: Regional, National, Continental, and World, preceded by a Pre-Season. These "tournaments" consist of varying numbers and difficulty levels of questions, referred to as "matches." The app incorporates game mechanics such as coins, points, and trophies to maintain student engagement. Developed collaboratively by the Vini.Jr Institute team and faculty from the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School, Base's educational content initially targets elementary school students (grades 1-5), ages 6-10, using sports as a hook and technology as a facilitator. All questions align with the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) guidelines.
