The Guardians of the Road project has been relaunched with a significantly improved app, offering a more convenient and user-friendly experience. Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. As of January 1, 2023, the project operates under the Safe Path association.

Citizens aged 18 and over can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations. The app is designed for quick and easy use. Activate the app before driving, and when you witness a violation, simply initiate the reporting feature. This can be done via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then record video and audio documenting the infraction.

These recordings are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer controllers. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases involving life-threatening violations, reports are forwarded directly to the police.
